Visitor farm
At Blakstad, both young and old can get up close to the animals and find peace in the countryside. We are open on Sundays during the season, and offer tailored experiences for kindergartens, schools, birthday parties and private groups.
Whether you want to greet the animals, celebrate a birthday in the barn, or take your children on an educational farm tour, we tailor experiences that will provide memories for a lifetime.
Farm games and team spirit
Do something completely different with your work or friends! We invite you to informal and engaging field trips with traditional farm games. How about a fun warm-up before the company party, or team building and lunch on the farm?
We adapt the program to your wishes. Here you can compete in axe throwing, bow and arrow shooting, horseshoe throwing and other farm activities that are guaranteed to create laughter and team spirit.
Accommodation by the fjord
For those who want to enjoy life in the countryside a little longer, we offer accommodation in beautiful surroundings. Just a five-minute walk from the farm you will find two cabins for rent right down by the lake. These are available via Airbnb.
Soon you can also spend the night in a tent by the lake or at our shelter on the edge of the forest.
From decay to new life
A new chapter for an old farm This is what Blakstad looked like before Berit and Karl began the extensive work of giving the yard new life. With respect for history and love for craftsmanship, the house and barn have been protected for the future. But the roots here go much deeper than that – all the way back to the Bronze Age.
